Magic:
The Gathering began in 1993.
To play a game, two or more players usually construct
a deck of 60 cards (from a choice of over nine thousand
unique cards!). These cards, or spells, are used to reduce
your opponents life total of twenty to zero. The last
player with any life remaining is declared the winner.
A limited selection of magic cards are available from
Play On, located on Commercial Street in Harrogate. Larger
selections are available from the Travelling
Man stores in Leeds
and York,
amongst others. There are also plenty of websites who
sell Magic cards, both in packs and individually.
